Mandy Moore was introduced to the wonders of CBD at last year’s Golden Globe awards. With a long night ahead, Mandy was advised to try CBD oil to help relieve high heel pain as reported by Rachel Marlowe from Coveteur.com
Mandy was quoted as saying “This year I’m trying some CBD oil on my feet, which my stylist recommended. I asked her if there was some kind of numbing cream, and she was like, ‘No! [Try] Lord Jones CBD Oil.’ So it could be a really exciting evening! I could be floating this year,” said Moore, referring to her stylist Erica Cloud, who dressed the actress in a black Rosie Assoulin gown with a red belt as part of the Time’s Up movement. Turns out Olivia Wilde is into the same CBD oil.
Wearing a pair of 6″ stilettos for six hours plus is not for the faint of heart. “I always try to choose really comfortable shoes, because as I’ve gotten older I just can’t hack being in heels for an extended period of time,” says Moore. “ Last year I thought I had gone for a pair of comfortable heels, but by the end of the night I was in so much pain I felt like I was walking on glass, so I kind of ended the evening early… Although honestly, I’ll find any excuse for an early night.”
CBD has been used effectively for an array of ailments with pain relief being one of the top 3. There’s an array of creams, lotions, salves, patches, sticks and oils on the market to help with everything from knee, neck, back and period pain. It’s effectiveness in this category cannot be denied and will continue to grow as more and more of the population gets past the stigma and tries it for themselves. It’s an exciting year to come!
